Do they sell victorian-type clothing to wear? If so, are the dresses particularly high priced? Are everyday (not unique occasion) victorian era dresses sold at all?

It is probable! I know many men and women that are full time victorian goth. (I am for an excellent element of the time…my job won’t allow it full time) We shop at all sorts of areas (which includes the mall, boutiques, ebay, goodwill, and so on). From time to time we get a little creative with adapting an item to fit our suggestions. Some of us sew and make/embellish points that way.

i would just go towards the retailer and ask to talk towards the individual in charge of that department..expplain the scenario..you’ll be suprised how generous men and women are with regards to these types of points

I know when we have solicited help within the past we sent letters out on letterhead (PTA) and then followed up having a call. From time to time calling initial to locate out the appro. person or dept. I would recommend Target if you have them in your region, they’ve been great. Also nearby wedding locations and maybe Ross and also the like- Burlington Coat Factory? Folks might be pleased to donate- generally the girls from other schools or which are now in College might- do you’ve got a nearby College? Ask to place up a flyer or two, maybe in the cafe or dorm? Then its not straight from the girls coming prior to them. Maybe even a number of the close-out stores on ebay to- worth a email- I donated Equestrian paintings for a race horse retirement farm auction-via just such an e mail. Beneficial luck, a really great factor to do.
